We popped in here because we were too hungry to wait until we got home. Had the pretzel for an app. It was amazing. Then had the Bayou Chicken Pasta dish. It was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Very flavorful and nice and hot. Hubby had the Goddess Burger. He is a vegetarian and he really enjoyed it. Big chunks of avacado. The fries were nice and hot. Our waitress was Katelyn. She was awesome. She was very personable. Gave us her opinion on our orders when we asked. She was also very attentive. Came by at just the right times. Everything was very clean. Music was nice and at a reasonable level. Restrooms were very clean and well stocked. Wish it wasn't so far from our house. Excellent experience. Highly recommend.

First and foremost I would love to give our server Rupa a 10/10 ! Not only was it his second day on the job, I specifically asked him how long he’s been working at Tavern in the Square, which in his reply was two days. I was shocked. He was the BEST server. Very attentive, especially with my mom. He knew the menu and added some suggestions as it was our first time there. I’m a little late with this review, hoping you will give Rudy some acknowledgment. We will be back again and will ask for Rupa to be our server. PS The food was excellent! Janet & Irene

Went here with friends, and the atmosphere was nice and had a large bar in the middle. Service was pretty good, but one of the bartenders was hard of hearing. I would know! Drinks were good, and the mushroom and ricotta pizza were tasty. The crust was pillow soft, and the mushrooms weren't slimy.

A home run every time I go. I've gone to 3 different locations, and they've yet to fail me. The Dedham location is fairly new. The parking is absolutely terrible, so car pool if you can. I was celebrating my birthday, and I forgot to make reservations, so we had to wait a while, which is fine, but the waiting area had nowhere to sit. Most places have a bench available to minimize the traffic at the door. Had the mango house margarita for 2, and WOW was it good, sweet with some kick, thank you, bartender (I believe it was the blonde in a ponytail). Had an amazing waitress who surprised me with a birthday cake, I honestly was not expecting it, thank you! The food was delicious, the Celtics were playing, and lost the 1st home game of the season to Denver (defending champs). Yea, sure it was loud, but I didn't have to speak loudly at my table. It's a full restaurant; of course, it's going to be loud. If you are in the area swing by, enjoy the (everything).

Food was generally excellent, the Quinoa bowl was delicious (but the added Chicken breast for 8 was dry as a bone) and the Asparagus & Sweet Pea Ravioli was DELICIOUS although smaller than expected. The Boom Boom Broccoli was delicious and surprisingly light for tempura. Spice was right on the money. The atmosphere was very nice too, hipster, dark and somewhat moody with lots of natural light. Too many TVs around the dining room if I'm honest. We will be back!

Had an excellent experience today at brunch with my girlfriends. The drinks were delicious, the food was soooo good! The salmon bowl with the jasmine rice was DELICIOUS and for the brunch option, my girlfriend said the buffalo Benedict was delicious. The wings as a starter ...! Our waiter was a nice gentleman with cool tattoos and pretty eyes .

One of the best places to go if you have a gluten allergy. They are super well trained in allergy stuff and incredibly accomodating. Chicken sandwich and Louisiana pasta are my two faves.

A little pricey but good portion sizes and good tasting food. Would definitely recommend the mac and cheese. The burgers are okay. Very nice server!
